Angel Still Waiting

Newly acquired Colombian forward Juan Pablo Angel has not been able to train with Red Bull New York because he is still waiting for a work visa. He has been resigned to watching the team practice and will not be making the trip with the team for Thursday's game in Dallas.

The Red Bulls hope Angel will be playing in the next two weeks, but Angel can not practice or play until he gets the visa. "We wanted it to happen Monday to be honest," team technical director Jeff Agoos said. "When you turn it over to the U.S. government, it's out of your control again. It's in their hands and we're trying to push it through as quickly as possible."

In the meantime, the Red Bulls will be in action on ESPN2 tomorrow night against FC Dallas. They hope to add to their near-perfect 2-0-1 record on the season.
