Corrales Ready to Make MLS Return

US international Ramiro Corrales has opted to return to Major League Soccer, according to a report from American Soccer Daily.

"We made a deal with the league," said Brann press officer Gorm Natlandsmyr. "Ramiro is now playing for one of the teams in MLS, but for which I do not know."
The Brann defender, playing in Norway's top division for the past three seasons, has seen a resurgence with the US men's national team under Bob Bradley, most recently appearing in his country's friendlies against Sweden and Mexico. He has received a total of six caps since he was first called up in 1996, and also represented the U.S. admirably at the U-20 level.

The rights to Corrales are currently held by the Houston Dynamo, but the expansion San Jose Earthquakes have also expressed interest in the defender. Corrales was with the Earthquakes from 1996-1997 and then again from 2001-2004, part of Frank Yallop's two-time MLS Cup winning squad. He has also suited up for the New York/New Jersey MetroStars (56 appearances) and Miami Fusion (1 appearance), in his MLS career.
