David Beckham has returned to Real Madrid's lineup, appearing to be fully recovered from knee ligament damage he suffered several weeks ago. With his team locked in a 1-1 tie against fourth-place Valencia, Beckham came on in the 66th minute. Six minutes later, it was Sergio Ramos who found himself on the end of a trademark bending Beckham free kick, heading home what would be the winning goal on the night.
Below is a clip of the winning goal. The first shot is blurry, but stick around for the replays and watch just how much the ball bends. The goalie looks as if he was ready to come out and cut it off, but the ball just kept bending away from him. Beautiful goal!
With the win, Real Madrid moves into second place, two points behind leaders Barcelona. It kept alive title hopes for the Galacticos, who haven't won a major trophy since David Beckham arrived in 2003.
