What Global Warming?

On Saturday, MLS begins its 12th season with good things forecast for the league this year. But there is something else in the forecast for three MLS cities hosting home openers today: SNOW. Here are the forecasts for host cities in Week 1, from weather.com.

Saturday's games:
RBNY @ Columbus - High of 34. Windy with occassional snow showers. Winds 20-30 mph.
Game-time temperature should be around 33, with snow showers and wind.

D.C. United @ Colorado - High of 34. Variably cloudy with snow showers. Winds 5-10 mph.
Game-time temperature should be around 31, with snow showers.

New England @ Chicago - High of 34. Snow flurries or snow showers. Winds 15-25 mph. Game-time temperature should be around 31, with flurries.

FC Dallas @ Real Salt Lake - High of 68. Partly cloudy. Winds 5-10 mph.
Game-time temperature should be around 66, partly cloudy.

Toronto FC @ Chivas USA - High of 67. Cloudy. Winds 5-10 mph.
Game-time temperature should be around 60, mostly cloudy.

Sunday's game:
L.A. Galaxy @ Houston - High of 56. AM Rain. Winds 10-15 mph.
Game-time temperature should be around 54, cloudy.
