Escape to (South) Africa

In preparation for the 2009 Confederations Cup and the 2010 World Cup, the U.S. Men's National Team will travel to South Africa for a friendly with the host country on November 17th.

First reported on MLS Underground, the game has been confirmed by FIFA and will pit Bafana Bafana against the Nats for the first time since June 3, 2000 - a game won by the U.S. 4-0 in Washington D.C.
