Rumor: Jay-Jay Okocha to RSL

The latest rumor going around MLS circles is that Nigerian midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha is set to join last-place Real Salt Lake. According to RSLFM, Okocha is set to transfer to RSL from Qatar SC upon the approval of his work permit.

Okocha, 33, was selected by Pele for inclusion in the FIFA 100, a list of the greatest living footballers in the world. His career resume includes three World Cups with Nigeria (1994, 1998 and 2002). He also scored twice in the 1996 Summer Olympics while leading his country to the gold medal in Atlanta.

Before his move to Qatar, Okocha played for Bolton, Paris St-Germain and Fenerbahce, among others. He has tallied 15 goals for his country's national team in 74 appearances.
