Pachuca striker Rafael Marquez Lugo has revealed that he would like to play in Major League Soccer sooner than later. The 25-year-old has just recently played in two games against MLS opposition in the SuperLiga and admits that the talent level in America is gaining on the rest of the world.
"I would like to play in the MLS," he told the Daily Breeze. "It grabs my attention. Soccer in the United States has grown tremendously under the eyes of the world."
Lugo scored Pachuca's lone goal in Los Tuzos' 2-1 loss to the Los Angeles Galaxy last week and also scored their only goal in Tuesday's 1-0 victory over Chivas de Guadalajara in the SuperLiga group stage, helping the club advance to the tournament's semifinals.
