Nunez, Pavon Among the Waived

Major League Soccer has released the complete list of players waived ahead of Thursday's waiver draft, set to be conducted via conference call at 3:00 p.m. ET. Several recognizable names made the list, including Chivas USA's Ramon Nunez and the Los Angeles Galaxy's Carlos Pavon.
The expansion San Jose Earthquakes will be the first club given the option to pluck one of the players off of the list, with the remaining teams arranged in ascending order from the franchise with the worst finishing position in 2007 (Toronto FC) to the eventual champions (Houston Dynamo) with the 14th pick.
