First Kick 2008

Scheduling for the opening weekend of the 2008 MLS season has been released.

Saturday, March 29th:
D.C. United @ Kansas City Wizards
Chicago Fire @ Real Salt Lake
Houston Dynamo @ New England Revolution
Toronto FC @ Columbus Crew
Los Angeles Galaxy @ Colorado Rapids
New York Red Bulls @ San Jose Earthquakes*

Sunday, March 30th:
Chivas USA @ FC Dallas

Dick's Sporting Goods Park will be the first facility to welcome the Beckham circus - '08 edition, seeing as how they missed out on last year's promised visit from the Golden Child when Beckham went down to injury in the SuperLiga final.

Opening weekend will also sport a re-match of MLS Cups '06 & '07 as the Revs will get an early shot to exact some revenge on the back-to-back champion Dynamo.

The league decided to finalize dates for opening weekend now so front offices can take full advantage of the holiday season - the remainder of the schedule won't be unveiled until February.
