American Stars Released

Two of America's brightest stars on the world stage were both released on Wednesday.

Damarcus Beasley is leaving Manchester City and will return to Dutch league champion PSV Eindhoven. He started 13 games for City, tallying four goals.

Oguchi Onyewu was released by incoming Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce on Wednesday. Gooch started seven games and played in four more as a substitute but will be returning to Belgian side Standard Liege.
Could either be eying a move to MLS?
