Colorado 2 - Real Salt Lake 0

There was one game to tell you about from Monday night around the league: In Utah, the Colorado Rapids downed Real Salt Lake by a 2-0 score.

Of note, Real Salt Lake has made a goalkeeping switch, with Chris Seitz taking over for the struggling Nick Rimando. Seitz was the #1 pick in the MLS Super Draft. Seitz kept Colorado off the scoreboard for over 70 minutes, but the Rapids struck twice in a four-minute span to steal the game.

Goalscorers for Colorado were Roberto Brown (71') and Kyle Beckerman (75').

Colorado (2-1-1, 7 points) will next play as hosts to the defending MLS champion Houston Dynamo on Saturday. Real Salt Lake (0-2-2, 2 points) welcomes the red-hot New York Red Bulls to Rice-Eccles Stadium on the same day, hoping to turn around a disappointing start to their 2007 season.
