Yallop: Zidane Not Galaxy-Bound

For everyone out there who has bought into the recent rumors of Zinedine Zidane coming out of retirement to join the Los Angeles Galaxy, head coach Frank Yallop has two words for you: No chance.

"I read in the paper the same as everyone did," Yallop says, "but there's no truth in that." He went on to say that AEG CEO Tim Leiweke and Galaxy GM Alexi Lalas would know more about the subject, but Yallop has not heard anything about Zidane joining the G's or any other MLS side, for that matter.

Speculation had been mounting that Zidane would be coming out of retirement to join his old Real Madrid teammate David Beckham at the MLS side, but at this point, a deal seems highly unlikely at best.
