Dempsey Scores 1st for Fulham

Former New England Revolution star Clint Dempsey has scored his first goal in a Fulham uniform - the only goal scored in their 1-0 win over Liverpool. Dempsey, who has been fighting to see playing time since making the move to England, came on as a substitute in the 54th minute and gave his team the edge in the 69th minute. It couldn't have come at a better time as Fulham has been in danger of being relegated recently. They are now nearly safe, being four points clear of the drop-zone with only one game remaining.
