Dynamo to Visit White House

The 2007 MLS Champion Houston Dynamo have been invited to the White House to meet with President George W. Bush on Tuesday, May 29th. They become only the second team to get the invite - the other was D.C. United in 1997.

The visit coincides with Houston's trip to the nation's capital to take on D.C. United three days earlier. As part of the honor, the MLS Cup will be displayed in the East Wing. "We're very honored to be invited to the White House," said Dynamo capitain Wade Barrett. "It was a fantastic achievement for us last year, and another in the latest of championships in the state of Texas. We're glad to represent that with the President."
