Steve Nash Loves Soccer

Phoenix Suns guard Steve Nash loves soccer. He credits the sport for teaching him the skills that have made him such a success in the NBA - five-time All-Star and two-time league MVP.
"Soccer taught me a lot of coordinator and footwork, skills and vision," Nash told the San Diego Union Tribune. "It really helped my basketball career. A lot of the skills are the same on the soccer field and the basketball court, so when I was allowed to actually use my hands, it almost felt unfair for me."

Fast fact: Steve's brother Martin currently plays for the USL's Vancouver Whitecaps and has earned 31 caps for the Canadian National Time, according to Wikipedia.
