Rapids Sign Daniel Osorno

The Colorado Rapids have signed forward Daniel Osorno to a contract.
Osorno, 28, has spent his entire professional career with CF Atlas in Mexico, save for a brief loan stint with Monterey in 03-04, netted 62 goals in 306 career club games. He has also made 56 appearances for his country's national team, tallying 12 goals since 1999 for El Tri, including the winning goal over Brazil in the 2003 Gold Cup.

It is not clear at this time whether Osorno's salary will qualify him as Colorado's designated player or not, but it's more likely that he won't count as their DP, in my opinion.

Does Colorado think 12 goals since 2004 with Atlas and the 5-8 135lbs size is going to intimidate MLS defenses?????
